Centurion Staircase in tulip design
For the construction of a unique curved staircase in southern Germany, precise preparation and well thought-out planning were crucial for success.
Climbing in reverse gear
An over 50-year-old high-rise building in the centre of Cologne has to make way for a new development. In a triumphant European premiere, specialist contractor Linkamp GmbH is using MEVA’s MGS-H rail-guided screen system to perform the necessary fully enclosed deconstruction works.

The Museum of the Future
The giant, oval Museum of the Future in Dubai contains seven floors, on top of a three-storey podium, with each storey varying in height. The key to success was careful planning, innovative Building Information Modelling of the 3D design and a combination of adaptable formwork solutions, to create the curved structure of this futuristic Museum.
Mammut XT saves time
Thanks to the efficiency of the Mammut XT system, a new housing complex was built faster than the contractor anticipated.
An architectural masterpiece
Substantial expansion of of The Vienna University of Economics and Business meant a requirement to extend the campus, with a further six buildings planned – four of which were erected using MEVA formwork and formwork solutions.
The world’s biggest water reservoir
Water reservoirs with a total capacity of 17 million cubic metres are built in the Qatari desert with MEVA formwork systems.
Highest building ever
MEVA rose to the challenge to help construct the Burj Khalifa – the tallest building in the world. Pouring 154 floors over the 829m height whilst remaining on schedule required formwork solutions that were durable and efficient.
Extraordinary stadium design
MEVA worked with the contractor to design a cantilevered shoring system at FC Felcsút’s Stadium in Hungary that would allow the roof supports to be cast without damaging the playing field.
